Elizabeth is a member of the firm's paralegal hiring committee as well as a member of the Oregon Paralegal Association ("OPA") and OPA's Probate Specialty Group.

 Elizabeth and her husband oversees the weekly operation of a local Southwest Washington food pantry, which distributes food and basic necessities to people in need.  She is also a member of the Board of Directors for a high school athletic booster club.

Law Practice:

Elizabeth Berrigan joined Cosgrave Vergeer Kester LLP's business practice group in December, 2002.  She specializes in estate planning, probate and trust administration matters, conservatorships/guardianships, entity formation and governance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, trademarks and general business for both Oregon and Washington clients.

Prior to joining Cosgrave, Elizabeth was employed as a legal assistant at Williams, Kastner & Gibbs PLLC and Sarah S. Conley P.C..  Previous to that, she worked for GST Telecom, Inc., a Washington State competitive local exchange carrier, in its Legal, Regulatory and Government Affairs Departments, which handled legal and regulatory compliance matters for approximately 37 affiliate and/or subsidiary companies.
