Professional:

Nick is a member of the Multnomah and American Bar Associations.  He is past Chair of the Oregon State Bar's Law-Related Education Committee.  He is currently a member of the Oregon Real Estate Home Inspectors Association.

Nick is presently serving as the Chairperson of the Oregon Association of Defense Council's Construction Practice Group.

Civic:

Through his volunteer activities, Nick helps organize and implement student outreach programs which create scholarships and legal essay contests.

Personal:

He hikes, works on the renovation of his home, and roots for UCLA.

 

Education & Bar Admissions:

Nick received his bachelor's degree in Speech Communications, achieving National Merit Scholar honors, from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1992.  He earned his law degree from Northwestern School of Law, Lewis & Clark College in 1997.

Nick was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1997 and the United States District Court of Oregon in 1999.

Law Practice:

Nick Baldwin-Sayre's practice emphasizes construction defect, property, products liability, and general civil litigation for contractors, subcontractors, home inspectors and appraisers, and design professionals. 

Prior to joining Cosgrave Vergeer Kester LLP, Nick was an associate for a firm that specialized in representing design professionals such as architects and engineers. He also served with the Oregon Department of Justice in the child support enforcement division.
