Experience
As Executive Director, Denise has lead the firm’s administrative team for seventeen years. Client services, accounting, information technology, human resources, and finance are included in the firm’s administrative functions. Prior to her position at the firm, Denise was CFO for a regional home furnishings and electronics chain.
Education
Denise graduated summa cum laude from Linfield College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
Professional
Denise has been very active in the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) and has been a board member of the Oregon Chapter since 2005. She has held the title of Treasurer, 2005-07; President-Elect, 2007-08; President, 2008-09; and Immediate Past President, 2009-10. In 2010, Denise was elected to a two year term as one of four ALA Region 5 Officers. Region 5 encompasses Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Edmonton and Calgary. As a regional officer, Denise also serves as an adjunct board member for the Oregon Chapter.
Civic
Denise has served on several local non-profit boards including The DePaul Center. She and her husband have also served as co-chairs for the annual Catholic Charities fundraiser.
Personal
Her favorite pastimes include travel, jogging (completed Portland Marathon) and foreign films. She is also known to get lost in Powell’s Bookstore.
