Law Practice
Jake focuses his law practice in the areas of business and real estate transactions. Jake advises clients on a variety of business and real estate matters, including business entity formation and planning, corporate governance, business acquisitions, employment law, real estate purchases and leases (commercial, industrial, and residential), and landlord-tenant law, as well as estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
Education & Bar Admissions
Jake graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law. Before law school, Jake graduated from Linfield College with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Law, Rights, and Justice. Jake also played on the Linfield College football team.
During law school, Jake represented two small businesses through the University of Oregon Business Law Clinic. Jake also externed with the City Attorney for the City of Sherwood and interned for the Lincoln County District Attorney’s Office. Furthermore, Jake served as a Managing Editor for the Oregon Review of International Law and as Logistics Director for the Green Business Initiative.
Jake is admitted to the Oregon State Bar.
Personal
Jake enjoys spending time with friends and family, exercising, hiking, and camping.
